Another home game for Weston 1stXV but United and Athletic on the road

Weston-super-Mare, who tomorrow host a Worcester Wanderers side who are just four points behind them, have lost ten of their last 12 league matches but are almost certain to of retaining their league status for next season.

Worcester, who won 24-13 when the sides last met, ended a run of five league defeats last weekend with a 21-7 home victory - their first in 2014 - in a hard fought tussle over basement side Chippenham.

Injuries have been a mounting problem for the Seasiders this season with centre Kirk Middlemiss the latest to be added to the casualty list after being injured in last weekend's 35-17 defeat by second placed Redingensians.

But centres Sylvan Edwards and Harry Jones, full back Jack Skelton and No.8 George Sparks all return to the action tomorrow with Dave Bufton reverting to the second row alongside Simon Hudson.

Weston United returned to winning ways last weekend with a 17-10 victory away to North Somerset neighbours Yatton. They are on the road again on Saturday as the Somerset Premier league takes them to St Bernadettes Old Boys.

When the sides met at the end of November, the Seasiders romped to a 53-15 victory with two tries from skipper Hudson plus one each for Eaton, Burns, Hannam and Caton while Main landed a penalty and five conversions.

Weston Athletic slipped to 35-28 defeat at home to local rivals Winscomve 2ndXV. Tomorrow their Tribute Somerset Two North game is away to Bristol Harlequins 2ndXV who lost 17-7 when the sides last met.
