All three senior sides look to get back to winning ways

Weston-super-Mare have home advantage for their third National Three South West league match in a row on Saturday when they take on league newcomers Chard, kick off 2.30pm.

The Seasiders will be looking to end a run of six straight league defeats which sees them one place off the foot of the table - five points above visitors Chard who are still looking for their first win since being promoted.

Chard produced their best performance of the season last weekend when a try six minutes into injury time denied them victory so they had to settle for a losing bonus point in the 31-27 home defeat by Brigham - who beat Weston 29-19!

After seven league wins in a row Weston United slipped to their first league defeat of the season as they slipped to a 22-9 home defeat by unbeaten Tribute Somerset Premier league leaders Gordano.

The defeat saw United drop to third place in the table and on Saturday they travel down the M5 to Hyde Park to face eighth placed Taunton United, kick off: 2.30pm, who have won three of their eight games this season.

Despite dropping to their fourth defeat in a row, when they went down 52-nil away to second placed Bristol Harlequins 2ndXV, Weston Athletic host Walcot OB 2ndXV, kick off 2.15pm, who are just three points behind.

Weston Colts kept the club flag flying last weekend with a last gasp 18-17 home victory over Frampton Cottrell Colts. On Saturday, Weston Colts may the short journey to face Clevedon Colts, kick off 2.30pm
