Excellent turnout for Paul Tincknell's 50th

An excellent crowd turned out on a perfect afternoon to celebrate former club captain Paul Tinknell's 50th birthday and watch the Presidents XV defeat Paul's XV by 50 -41.

The match was very much in the balance throughout as Tincknell and ex-Bridgwater fly-half Nick Edmonds pulled the strings for their respective sides. Fortunately for the rest of the veteran players, a lack of fitness meant there was a lot less chat between the two of them than in previous encounters.

Special thanks to referee Dave Brooks and his assistant Rob Harris,those players who travelled from afar to make the occasion and to Tony Bush for organising the teams, for what was a great day at the club.
