Its a wrap! Minis Rugby Festival 2019 - announcing 2020

By Daniel Denning

Children from U7s to U12s enjoy a fantastic day of Minis Rugby under the sun. And the date for 2020 is announced as 26th April 2020.

“Wanted to thank you and your club for the rugby festival our teams thoroughly enjoyed it and want to know what date it will be next year so we can book accommodation to return for the festival. Many thanks ” Mike Noakes Aberavon Greenstars RFC

Over 800 children in 64 squads from 17 clubs attended the 2nd Annual Minis Rugby Festival in Weston on Sunday.

Teams came from both England and Wales to play a days worth of rugby to celebrate their end of season. Most of the teams were on tour staying at accommodation local to the area.

We would like to thanks those squads from U7s to the U12s from the rugby clubs of Hornets, Flanharan, Vardre, Bristol Imperial, Bristol Harlequins, Burnham-on-Sea, Aberavon, Machen, Newent, Greyhound, Winscombe, Pontypridd, Caldicot, Bromsgrove, Mountain Ash and Weston-super-Mare who were all on the paying schedule.

A great day had by all and the feedback we have recieved has all been positive. The sun shone, the BBQs were busy and most importantly the kids had an opportunity to shine.

We would like to thank our sponsors in CTouch, Viper Innovations and Concem. Your donations have been very much put to good use and are hugely important for grassroots children's rugby and effectively the promoting children's health.

Preparations for next year's festival has already started for the 26th April 2020 - registration should be complete via Minis Rugby Festival -
