The club was sad to learn from Roger Coles, that Ken Kidger passed away in the early hours on the 31st March. Ken had not enjoyed the best of health in recent months and had been living in a care home in Burnham-on-Sea.

Over many years Ken and his late wife Audrey proved to be great supporters of the club, there is a dedication to Audrey in the club gym following their generous support which helped fit it out.

I only had the luck to enjoy a few conversations with Ken, many of you will have had the good fortune to have known him far better and will be deeply saddened to know that there will be another familiar face missing from the crowd on a Saturday afternoon.

It appears that Ken has no family here, Audrey hailed from the Bournemouth area. Roger does have details of Kens solicitor and will update us all when more details are known.

Rest in Peace Ken, the club has lost another great friend, you will be missed by many.
