Weston Roses were delighted to receive their new kit today from sponsors Nandos and suppliers Karuta today.

Weston-super-Mare RFC's newest team took delivery of their kit today courtesy of Simon Benham (left) manager of sponsors Nando's Weston-super-Mare and Martin Longden (Right) Managing Director of Weston based sportswear firm Karuta.

The girls have emerged as a team in their own right as a result of Premiership Rugby's Project Rugby Campaign which was put in place to engage and develop new audiences to rugby. Central to their success was Rich Hynes (centre) from the Bristol Bears Community Foundation and Hans Price Academy Student Bryony Shepherd (3rd in from the right).

Tomorrow they're training at England's HQ meeting England star Nollie Waterman and then watching the Premiership Final as RFU guests.

The side have attracted national recognition with their story featuring on the Project Rugby website. They're going to have a great day tomorrow but the girls want to attract more players to their new side for Bristol Star Esme Bird to coach. Anyone with a question can call Lavina on 07976505386 or Tracey on 07765407808. Training is free and with everyone new to the game themselves nobody should be daunted if they've no experience.
