Three of Weston's under 16 squad represented Somerset RFU in games against Bristol Schools at a wet Bristol Grammar School sports ground on Sunday 21 January. Euan Braidwood, Kyron Pearce and Andrew Turner all put in good performances and were a credit to the club.
Euan Braidwood played in his familiar position in the second row in the first of the day's games. His hard work at the breakdown, tackling and good positional play helped to ensure that Somerset gradually gained the upper hand in an evenly contested game which they went on to win.
Andrew Turner, played the position of prop and Kyron Pearce outside centre in the second game against Bristol schools. Both players made a positive contribution to the Somerset team.
Congratulations to all players involved.
