Weston won this fierce encounter to go second on points difference after a hard fought victory over their visitors from the Forest of Dean.
Weston had their chances in the first half but were thwarted either by handling errors or strong defence. However they did take the lead through number eight Brad Talbot after the pack took one against the head. Wing Alex Howman converting.
Drybrook hit back after fly half Stevenson barrelled his way through threadbare defence eventually ending with hooker Dean Jelf going over.
The second half was almost a carbon copy of the first with defences to the fore but after concerted pressure by the forwards featuring Talbot and Prop Ollie Streeter it was replacement flanker Ben Tothill who finally touched down. Howman again converting.
Drybrook cut the lead to six points but a Howman penalty on the stroke of time gave the hosts a narrow victory which also prevented the visitors from gaining a losing bonus point.
With defences to the fore special mention must go to flanker Jacob Cox whose tackling was once again of the highest order.
Number eight Brad Talbot was very dangerous and the front row was once again in dominant form
and the returning Cameron Maslen at centre had a sound match.
