Congratulations to Huw Morgan and Jay Davis on being named in the 37-strong Somerset County squad for the Bill Beaumont Senior Mens County Championship this season.

'This is an exciting squad with a real mix of experienced county players and young, hungry players who want to make a name for themselves," said head coach Dan Cox.

"The open session showed the quality of rugby in Somerset and also players' hunger to represent the county.

"For those not selected in the training squad, we hope you’ll support the campaign as we look to make history!"

Somerset beat Staffordshire 36-20 in the Bill Beaumont Senior Mens County Championship Division 2 final at Twickenham in June 2023. Meanwhile, Lancashire lost 39-37, having led 27-10 at half-time, to Kent in last season's Division 1 final at Twickenham
