Weston sunk by Services
The visitors took an early lead from a scrum to go under the sticks.
They increased this lead a couple of minutes later when a sweeping move put their prop over.
Weston hit back when a grubba from scrum half Dan Lomax fell beautifully for right wing Dominic Marshall.
Weston then scored again when a sweeping fifteen man move ended with flanker Kieran Broomsgrove crossing for fly half George Nuttycombe to convert.
Devonport hit back straight away with a simple long range try scored by their left wing under the posts.
Weston were then penalised for being offside in midfield. The services kicked to the corner but the home defence held.
Weston then gave away another try when room was sniffed down the blindside.
The hosts hit back through number eight Jay Davis who also went under the posts after a line out and forward pressure. Fly half George Nuttycombe converted his second of the day.
The comeback didn't last long as the visitors ran out of defence to score another straight forward try which was converted.
They again crossed easily to put them almost out of sight.
The ref then blew for an early half time due to what looked like a serious injury to a visiting player.
Weston began the second period by conceding a penalty at the scrum near their line but managed to close play down
However this didn't last long as the outstanding full back of Devonport once again waltzed his way through porous defence to go under the sticks.
They scored another converted try a couple of minutes later.
Another long range try followed before
Another try followed to beat a now crestfallen home defence.
Once again in the game for a large part of the first half Weston in the end just could not cope with the speed of Devonports outside backs and eventually capitulated to a meek defeat.
