WESTON-super-Mare start 2011 looking to end a run which as seen three defeats in their seven home games but the Seasiders face tough opposition with the visit to Drove Road of league leaders Hartpury College.

The College have a five point lead at the top of the League 3 South West table over Old Patesians after failing to win in just two of their seven games but they were at home.

The Seasiders have based their selection on the form that players showed in recent training performances and they have a new look to the backs with the tried and trusted pack.

Chairman of rugby Mark Philp said: "We have managed to fit in a number of training sessions and have prepared as well as possible. Although we will be lacking in game sharpness our visitors will have had the same problems and will have had a limited preparation.

"Hartpury are top of the league and, with only two defeats, are consistently the best performers in the division. They are a very fit and well organised side who, if allowed to run, are capable of scoring a lot of tries.

"Although we were well beaten at the College earlier in the season we gave a good account of ourselves and realise that we must make our first up tackles and ask questions of their defence when we have possession.

"Their defeats by Old Pats and Bournemouth show they are not invincible but we will have to play at the top of our game to gain a victory. As always we will give it our best shot and hope to catch them on an off day, we have nothing to lose and with a big crowd behind us who knows?"

Weston welcome back Jon Gallagher at centre after a brief spell with Bridgwater & Albion while James Mackay moves to outside centre and Dewey Swartbooi switching to fly-half.

Hartpury's last game was the 43-7 home win over Cheltenham when the main stadium pitch at the College was frozen over so the match was switched to a nearby pitch so the match could go ahead.

Chris Hawkins starts on the left wing for the College while in the pack Kobus Du Rand and Phil Hoy make up the second row, skipper Tom Savage switches to blindside flanker with Will Foden at openside.
