Instructions

Weston-Super-Mare will be looking to build on first half performance in the home defeat against Hartpury College last Saturday as they make the short trip down the M5 to College Way where they face Bridgwater & Albion(kick off confirmed as 3pm).

The home side will be looking for for revenge after their 27-15 defeat at Drove Road in October and the Seasiders know that they will have to produce an 80 minute performance to give themselves a chance of achieving a victory.

Weston's chairman of rugby Mark Philp said: "After our win at home earlier in the season we would be delighted to complete a double, but they will not want that and they will want to stop their recent run of defeats

"I know Nick Hill well and he is the sort of coach who gets on with it and he will have been working hard to turn things around, starting on Saturday. They didn’t turn up until half time at Weston by which time we 27-0 up and although they were much improved in the second half we were too far ahead.

"I know they won’t afford us the same privilege on Saturday and I am expecting a full on local derby where the team who wants it more will probably win.

"We are in the middle of a poor run also but welcome back one or two key players who are showing some match sharpness in recent games and I hope will start to show their true ability for the rest of the season.

"Bridgwater are above us in the league and are at home so start as favourites, but we will be endeavouring to build on our first half performance against Hartpury and looking for an 80 minute performance. If we achieve this we will give ourselves every chance of achieving a victory."

Weston include include former Bridgwater players Sean Bennett in the centre and flanker Jamie Rudkin as they make just one change with Jack Conway starting at scrum half with Ross Bennett moving to the bench.

Last week, Bridgwater went down 27-0 at Bournemouth and are currently in eighth place in the league but have not having registered a point in the last five matches.

Bridgwater switch Sam Osborne to fly-half with George Williams moving to his preferred position at inside centre with Rob Allen moving to outside centre. while in the pack Phil Triggoll starts at loosehead prop in place of Alan Trunks.
