Lock Ash Russell will lead Weston-super-Mare on Saturday at Metz Way against Coney Hill in what will be his 200th appearance for the 1stXV having started with the Seasiders as a mini.
Russell was named man of the match in Wednesday's 41-19 Somerset County Cup final victory over neighbours Clevedon at Bridgwater's College Way as the club lifted the trophy for the third successive season.
Injuries from their 41-19 Cup success mean that Matt Burns replaces Sean Bennett in the centre, Darren Doughty is at tighthead prop in place of Simon Williams, Jamie Rudkin moves to openside flanker replacing Rich Bignall with Ned Barker at blindside.
Chairman of rugby Mark Philp said: "Our league form has been poor since our great Cup semi-final win at Taunton, if we can replicate that and our performance in the final we will give ourselves every opportunity of winning."
Coney Hill, who will be relegated at the end of the season, have named just nine of the starting line-up that won 28-12 away to fellow relegated Cleve last time out. Hill have won just two of their home games this season.
