Westons promising warm up was destroyed in just a few minutes after Petherton ran in tries almost unopposed to go 3 up.
The lack of competitive match play was obvious but what was being shown was a real improvement in handling and passing from many players, they were just let down with some again avoiding physical contact when it mattered. This was not helped by once again facing a team who were to a player bigger than them.
The one bright moment was once again the fearlessness of Isaac Bliss who again brought down a player larger than him in a one on one denying a definite try.
Daniel Hall making his debut nearly made it to the line but the could do nothing to halt two more tries.
