Weston U11's fantastic season continues!

Weston U11's fantastic season continued at the Rec against a very game and hard working Nailsea and Backwell side in a hastily arranged fixture.

With the wind behind them Weston were soon in top gear and after several minutes of heavy pressure Nailsea's defence finally cracked allowing prop Jack Howard, who had a storming match, to score the first of his hat trick of tries. Weston's onslaught was relentless and further first half tries followed from Sam Kerrigan, J Howard and the excellent loose head prop George Bamsey, who also bagged a hat trick of tries on the day, the half time score was 28 - 0 to Weston.

The second half showed no let up in the high tempo attacking rugby from the home side, with backs and forwards linking and supporting each other they soon crossed Nailsea's line again through Howard, G Bamse (2) Jesse Dadds and the rampant Eddie Davies, Archie Tilsley adding 7 conversions and G Bamsey 1.

The final score was 61 - 0 to the home side, however the high total was harsh on the Nailsea and Backwell team who played some great rugby of their own and tackled their hearts out but on the day the superb 12 man rugby from Weston was too much. Well done to both teams for an excellent spectacle
