Weston United take try-scoring bonus point away to title contenders Taunton 2ndXV

Weston United, trailing 28-7 at half time following a try from second row Sam Light was converted by skipper Archie Tilsely, came back in the second half to secure a try-scoring bonus point against title contenders Taunton 2ndXV.

Inside centre Ollie Caton scored the first of two quick tries after the break followed by a touchdown by outside centre Hayden Main.

Tilsley converted the first but was off target with his second attempt leaving Weston United trailing 56-19.

Five minutes from time Main claimed his second try of the game, and the bonus point, but there was still time for Taunton to score their 13th try of the game which was converted to end the game.

Taunton United, with a game in hand, are just a point behind league leaders Chew Valley 2ndXV while Weston United are one place off the foot of the table, three points clear of Yatton who have played two more games.
