
Weston United will play their final Counties 3 Tribute Ale Somerset South match of the 2025/26 season on Tuesday evening (April 28) having made the short trip along the A370 to face Hornets 3rdXV at The Nest. Kick-off: 7.30 pm.
The 36-29 victory for Weston United at Wells on Saturday was their eighth win in a row and ended the hosts’ unbeaten run this season as well as closing the gap between the two sides to one point.
Weston United ran in 14 tries in the 94-5 home win over Hornets 3rdXV in November with Chris Young scoring four tries and kicking 12 conversions as he bagged 44 points in the game.
Saturday’s 47-26 loss away to Martock was Hornets 3rdXV’s seventh defeat in a row, if you include the three Walk Overs conceded, and they are now rooted at the foot of the table with three wins from their 19 outings.
